The MEGAPHONE is an e-Learning and Education website which focuses on children's rights and the lives of children in difficult circumstances. Pupils are encouraged to participate in debates, polls and other interactive activities. Save the Children Denmark listens to their opinions and carry them forward in the organisation's fight for children's rights.
School children
The MEGAPHONE is aimed at grade 4 to 6 and grade 7 to 9 in the Danish primary schools. Pupils can use the website for independent research for papers and teachers can use the site to organise e-Learning and education for their pupils.
The MEGAPHONE gives children and youth a profound understanding of their own rights and the lives of children in difficult circumstances. It aims to make children and youth aware of their rights as well as to grow up to become responsible adults and citizens who will respect the rights of the child. With these aims the website lives up to the curriculum for the Danish primary school. |
